Marc A. Winston joined the firm at the beginning of 2016 after being in practice for 32 years in Bronx County.
Mr. Winston was the managing partner of his former law firm and headed the transactional department. He brings a wide range of experience negotiating contracts of sale on multiple dwellings, tax payers/spring malls and multiple use properties along with the preparation of commercial leases. Over the course of his 32 years, he has closed over 2,000 real estate transactions within the Metropolitan NYC area.
Mr. Winston hold an advanced degree in taxation law, which is used to maximize the tax advantage of each transaction as well as offering estate planning and participation in all phases of forward and reverse IRC § 1031 tax-free-exchanges. Mr. Winston also represents several private lenders whose large capital reserves enable unprecedented speed in the acquisition, development and rehabilitation of real estate and partnership by-outs. Most closings are completed within a day of receipt of a title report and include first mortgages, subordinate mortgages, blanket loans as well as creative financing packages.
Mr. Winston oversees each transition providing attentive and personalized service to each client and their organization.
