Krista Halpin


Krista Halpin joined the firm in 2016. Ms. Halpin is an associate in the firm’s real estate department. She has significant experience in all aspects the acquisition, financing, leasing, development and disposition of real estate including commercial, retail, industrial and residential properties.   In addition, she also drafts governing documents for homeowners associations and condominiums; reviews management and other agreements; and coordinates with architects, consultants, the New York State Attorney General’s Office and the New York City Department of Finance in order to consummate condominiums and other offerings.

In addition to the practice of law, Ms. Halpin was formerly Vice President of Compliance for the New York City Economic Development Corporation. At NYCEDC she monitored both NYEDC and New York City Industrial Development Agency real estate dispositions, company agreements, and served as Chair of the Compliance Committees for NYCEDC and also the NYCIDA. Ms. Halpin was a member of the NYCEDC Procurement Committee and is an expert in state and local legislation regarding tax incentives and mandatory reporting to state and local authorities.
