Jonah Lax

Jonah Lax focuses on the firm’s real estate and cooperative/condominium departments. He handles transactional real estate, including commercial leasing, mortgage financing, sales and acquisitions, and is general counsel for all issues relating to coops and condos.

Before joining Smith Buss & Jacobs, Jonah served as a law clerk and legal intern with Levitin & Associates, PC, a boutique real estate firm. He earned his law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, where he was a teaching assistant and a staff editor for the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution (Vol. 23).
